Main Street concept needs your input

The City of Spokane received great feedback at two community meetings regarding the concept for future Main Street construction.

Many business owners in the area between Bernard and Pine have requested additional parking. This concept adds center lane angle parking between Browne and Division, which could be utilized as a “Ramblas” for convertible festivals. Another addition includes a midblock crosswalk between Browne and Division to reduce the amount of jaywalking. Between Division and Pine the concept plans to add angle parking on the north side of the street.

Currently, we are in the concept phase of this project and seeking public input. For more information view the City of Spokane and Downtown Spokane's presentations below.
