Spokane is kicking off another amazing African American History Month! This February is again chock-full of local events.
African American History Month celebrations are part of the City's commitment to highlight Spokane's multicultural community. Fiesta Spokane and Native American Heritage Month celebrations are also part of this effort.
There are lots of ways to get involved, from exhibits, lectures, and workshops to live performances and film screenings. Events are being hosted at several of the area's major colleges and universities, among other venues.
