Camp Sekani update
As the next step in Camp Sekani restoration, we have completed paperwork for a forest health improvement plan with the Department of Natural Resources in partnership with Spokane Fire.
The DNR just got started felling hazard trees, which is anticipated to take about 2 weeks.
Following that work, our teams will work collaboratively to identify and evaluate other potential hazards, including erosion and trail alterations, and after that, create a reopening plan with worklists and volunteer opportunities.
We will share additional updates as this work progresses.
The area remains closed to the public (map).
