Request a Ride-Along

The Spokane Police Department is not currently accepting ride-along requests from the general public.

Ride-Alongs for Media

Media representatives must submit both the Request to Ride Form and the Ride-along Agreement for Media Form.

Start times: 6:00 a.m., 1:00 p.m., or 8:00 p.m.
(Excludes holidays and large events like Hoopfest or Bloomsday)
Ride-alongs last about 4 hours.

Please Note:

  • A background check and interview are required
  • Riders must be able to participate unassisted
  • Officers may need to drop you off in a safe location due to an emergency response — please plan for backup transportation
