Sept. 11

Spokane Police Officer Shot In Exchange of Gunfire

4:43 p.m. - An officer was shot during an Officer Involved Shooting incident this morning. The officer involved in the shooting is in stable condition.

Sept. 9

Two Officers Treated At the Hospital for Unknown Exposure

4:03 p.m. - Two officers had to be given Narcan after suffering adverse reactions to an unknown substance they were exposed to.

Multiple Drive By Shootings

3:59 p.m. - Two drive by shootings over the weekend bring the total from the past few weeks to at least nine.

Sept. 8

DUI Crash

3:57 p.m. - A drugged up driver collided into a vehicle. In an attempt to flee the scene the driver slammed into a residence disabling their vehicle.

Arson Arrest

2:24 p.m. - An alert Officer, with the help several citizens were able to quickly get the fires under control and arrest a suspect shortly after.

SPD Now Accepting CPL Applications and Scheduling Fingerprinting

2:19 p.m. - SPD is now accepting applications for new, renewed, and replacement CPL’s (Concealed Pistol License) through the police department website.

Hotline for Tips Regarding Human Trafficking

7:17 a.m. - The FBI in conjunction with the Safe Streets Task Force is putting out a tip line to receive tips and info regarding human trafficking in our area.

Armed Standoff Vehicle Barricade

7:12 a.m. - SPD respond to a call of Domestic Violence and ends up in a standoff with an armed man in the parking lot of the Five Mile shopping center.

Sept. 6

Man arrested for domestic violence burglary armed with a rifle.

2:53 a.m. - Man arrested after breaking into his ex-girlfriend’s residence with a rifle and threatening her through text messages.
