2018 Residential Grind and Overlay

Description and Location: Contractors will grind pavement at curbs in order to create a bed for new pavement. Then roadways will be overlaid, ADA ramps installed, storm pipes/drains will be installed and patched as needed.

The overlay work will focus on 14 total separate areas throughout the city for 2018.

The work is being performed with city funds. Project number 2018044 is for grind/overlay work on the north half of the City. Project number 2018047 is for grind/overlay work on the south half of the City.

Weekly Meetings: Weekly meetings for this project will be held at different locations (depending upon where the focus of the work is occurring). The first meeting will be July 16, at 2:00 p.m. Please contact Jared Boucher at 509-536-3094 for location.

A goal of these meetings is to share information, from City/Contractor staff to you, and to receive information from you. It is our hope that through timely and thoughtful information sharing, emerging concerns are addressed as quickly and directly as possible.
