PLANNED CLOSURE OF MONROE STREET BRIDGE CANCELLED FOR THIS WEEKEND BECAUSE OF WEATHER
Work will be rescheduled.
The planned closure of the Monroe Street Bridge, Spokane Falls Boulevard and adjacent areas has been cancelled for the weekend of 9/27 because of anticipated wet and cold weather. The closures are needed to accommodate paving in these areas and will be rescheduled.
Construction work will continue this weekend at the site of the combined sewer overflow tank being built on Spokane Falls Boulevard between Lincoln and Monroe. Motorists should anticipate lane restrictions on Spokane Falls Boulevard and on Monroe south of the bridge.
Access to Main St. West of Monroe will be open.
