Project Update

The proposed work for fall 2020 on the South Gorge Trail project number 2019138 has changed. This fall, LaRiviere will be completing the work on the Sandifur Parking Lot, including trail and river access improvements. LaRiviere will also be completing the swale work along Main. Crews will work this fall as long as weather permits. Typically, jobs shut down for the winter season around mid-November. LaRiviere will resume work on the remainder of the project (Clarke Avenue, Maple Street, and Wilson Avenue) next spring as soon as weather permits. Project completion is still expected in 2021.
