South Gorge Trail Phase 2

Construction Estimate: $4,005,463.70

Project Location: From Clark & Spruce Street to Water & Ash Street

Description: Construct a 10-foot wide pedestrian and bike trail, water main and pavement reconstruction of Clarke Ave, and storm water mitigation at various locations. This project is funded with local and state funds.

Status: Complete
LaRiviere will resume construction on Clarke Avenue on February 7th. The remaining work involves removing the existing roadway, curbs, and sidewalk. Once removed, LaRiviere will install the new storm line, followed by the new clean water line, and finally the new water main. Once the storm and water lines are installed, LaRiviere will wrap up the work on the retaining wall, install new curbs and sidewalks, and repave the road. Work is expected to be completed in early April. Expect intermittent closures of the Clarke/Elm intersection.
