Birthday Parties

To ensure a successful birthday party, it is necessary to make a reservation request at least three (3) weeks before the event date. Payment on reservations are due two (2) weeks before the event and a booking confirmation will be provided after receiving the signed agreement and payment.

Guidelines:

  1. Every birthday celebration lasts for 2.5 hours, which includes both the setup and teardown times (2 hour rental with 15 minutes before and after). Should you need additional time, you can choose to add it at a rate of $50 per hour (1 hour minimum).
  2. Party times:
    1. Numerica Skate Ribbon – Hours Info.
    2. Looff Carrousel – Hours Info.
    3. North Bank Shelter – Inquire about available times.
  3. We kindly request that you avoid using glitter, stickers, or any material that could potentially cause damage while decorating the room. If you plan to hang any decorations, we suggest using painter's tape. Additionally, balloons should be kept within the party rooms at all times. Thank you for your cooperation.

Food & Beverage Options

You are allowed to bring in your own food or you may use one of our approved food vendors. A list of vendors can be provided upon request.

Coca-Cola has exclusive pouring rights throughout the entire park and all beverages for birthday parties, private, and public events must reflect their brand, including water. Please talk to the Event Manager about purchasing options.

Rental Policies

Reservation requests must be made at least three (3) weeks prior to the event date. Payment is due upon reservation or 60 days prior to the event date. Events are not confirmed until a booking agreement has been signed and payment has been received.

Cancellation Policy

A refund of venue rental fees shall be made only if written notice of cancellation is received by Riverfront Park a minimum of (60) days prior to the date of the event. Events booked within 60 days are not eligible for refunds.

Do I need to purchase wristbands for my guests to ride the Carrousel or skate at the Numerica Skate Ribbon?

No. Each birthday party packages comes with wristbands to accommodate all guests at your party.

Is skate rental included in the Skate Ribbon birthday party package?

Yes.

What are the party room capacities?
  • Looff Carrousel – 24 per room, 72 if using all three rooms
  • Looff Patio – 51
  • Numerica Skate Ribbon – 30
  • North Bank Shelter – 153
Can we bring our own decorations?

Yes, you may bring your own room decorations. Simple decorations are welcomed but please no confetti or tape/ tacks on walls. Helium balloons are allowed in the party rooms but not in the main carrousel building.

How do I check party room availability?

To check room availability, please complete/submit the birthday party reservation form. An event planner will contact you to review party details and availability.

Am I allowed to bring in my own food and beverage?
  • We are currently transitioning to a new food service provider and do not have an on-site caterer to service your event; therefore, there are a few options for you to consider:
    1. You may order food from the Sky Ribbon Café located inside the Numerica Skate Ribbon. *Hours of operation may vary
    2. You may bring your own food.
    3. You may hire an off-site caterer for a 15% administrative charge. All caterers must serve Coca-Cola beverages and be a member or our Qualified Vendor Program.
  • If your birthday is at the North Bank Shelter, you are allowed to bring in your own food and beverage items. Gas grills and heating appliances are strictly prohibited from the park.
