Section 04.06.160 Members
- The board consists of the mechanical inspector and three citizens appointed by the director of building subject to confirmation by the building commission. The appointment members consist of:

- the holder of a heating mechanic II license,
-
- an employee of a gas utility,
-
- a representative of the mechanical contractors.
- Members are appointed to staggered three-year terms.
- The board elects its chairman.
