Funding and Sponsoring

Many organizations within our community are unable to cover the variety of costs that accompany volunteer projects. Through generous donations from corporate and community partners, the Spokane Gives committee has been able to create a mini-grant fund. The mini-grants can cover project expenses, up to $500, for Spokane Gives participants and projects hosted during Spokane Gives 2017.

Apply for a Mini-Grant

Criteria

  • Open to any non-profit organization that is registered on volunteerspokane.org.
  • If your agency is not registered, go to http://www.volunteerspokane.org/agency/signup/
  • Once your agency is registered, add your volunteer project(s)/event(s) for Spokane Gives 2017 by clicking the "Advanced Events" tab within your agency's profile and clicking "Add Need".
  • Project requests may be made for up to $500 per volunteer project.
  • With a limited amount of funding available, agencies may apply for more than one project but are asked to submit them in order of priority. All funding request may not be able to be fulfilled.
  • Projects must take place during April, which is Spokane Gives month.

Sponsor a Mini-Grant

Do you or your organization have the financial resources to sponsor an event? If so, your support in our Mini-Grant Program could positively impact a non-profit organization that does not have the financial means to complete a service event. By sponsoring a service event your organization will ensure non-profit organizations are able to participate in Spokane Gives.
