The City of Spokane is hosting four meetings to seek input on the community’s public safety priorities.

These meetings are intended to provide Spokane residents the opportunity to weigh in as the City of Spokane hires new public safety leadership.

“Public safety decisions affect all of us, so it is crucial that we hear from people all across Spokane about what is most important to them. This input will help us ensure that policies and practices reflect the diverse needs and concerns of the people we serve,” said Deputy City Administrator Maggie Yates.

These meetings will take place throughout the month of April at various locations:

  • April 9 from 5:30 –7 pm at the West Central Community Center
  • April 11 from 6-7 pm at the Northeast Community Center
  • April 16 from 6-7:30 pm at the Liberty Park Library
  • April 30 from 5:30-7 pm virtual

People attending the virtual meeting are asked to register online here.
