This program's purpose is to provide last-in capital dollars to assist in a construction project or expansion of an existing facility. This construction must result in and/or expand services to at risk youth that have been disproportionately impacted by Covid. This Notice of Funding of Availability will award a grant up to $1,000,000 to provide "last dollars" to a Behavioral Health Organization that serve at risk youth to assist in completing Capital Improvements for expansion of services. This project should be made through a competitive bid process. These dollars may not be used as a federal match to a project, they are intended to be last dollars needed to complete a project or expansion.

The ARPA Assistance to Small Business grant is funding for Spokane Businesses who were impacted by the Covid pandemic. Grants of up to $45,000 will be awarded to small businesses who can show a decline in gross revenue or show increased expenses equal to or greater than the ($45,000 grant) amount. Additionally, businesses who started operations in 2020 or 2021 are eligible for grants of up to $15,000. The business must prove an operating loss during this time. Businesses will be awarded their operating loss during this time up to $15,000.
*This is the second of two rounds of Funding. Funding will be given in the order of application received or until funding is exhausted.

The purpose of the Cultural Event Incentive Grant is to support the resilience and sustainability of City of Spokane events-producing organizations while expanding access for all residents to a wide range of inclusive cultural experiences. Primary considerations include event proposals that demonstrate cultural relevance, enhance the cultural vitality, and/or support the inclusion of diverse communities. This grant reimburses 75% of your event with a maximum award of $25,000; an upfront payment of up to 25% of your total award is available with proper documentation. All events in 2023 are eligible even if the event has already taken place.
Grants of up to $45,000 will be awarded to nonprofits not awarded in round 1 who can show operating expenses from March 2020 to current. All funding is retrospective reimbursement for expenses already paid. Your organization will be required to provide information in the narrative section to show how it has been impacted. Up to an additional $25,000 can be awarded to any organization (round 1 or 2) who can show they were disproportionally impacted and have not received adequate funding. Those applying for additional funding will be scored and ranked for this award.
*NOTE: This Notice of Funding Availability is the second of two rounds of recovery funding. This round of funding is open for 30 days, awards will be given in the order of applications received or until funding is exhausted. $2,687,226 is available in this round of funding, $400,000 of this is set aside for scored awards.

The City of Spokane is announcing a Notice of Funding Availability for Employment Support in the Arts (PDF 1.2 MB). This grant award is solely funded by United States Department of Treasury under the American Rescue Plan (ARP)/ Coronavirus State and Local Fiscal Recovery Funds (CSLFRF) – (CFDA 21.027). Funds shall be used to assist artists and art oriented creative businesses/organizations impacted by COVID-19.
This RFP will be awarded to a Qualified Organization who has the ability to administer grant funds to childcare providers to provide specified programs and staffing support needs within the City of Spokane. Not-for-profit agencies with 501(c) status should be able to provide representation of the economically challenged residents within the city limits. Work will be related to statutory eviction actions filed in Spokane County Superior Court based upon nonpayment of rent associated with pandemic-related loss of income. Response deadlines for submissions are September 26.
Grants were awarded to support Downtown Cultural Events in 2022 including parades and festivals, especially those that were not able to get LTAC funds due to the additional requirements of documented hotel stays.
