Parking meters don’t have to be plugged on Friday, Nov. 11, because of the Veterans Day holiday. City of Spokane offices and libraries, however, are open as usual on Friday, and garbage pickup and curbside recycling will proceed on a normal schedule.

Riverfront Park’s Ice Palace, Skyride, and Carrousel are open on Veterans Day. Check www.spokaneriverfrontpark.com for the schedule.

Meanwhile, the City’s Municipal Court employees will be working and are available by phone on Friday, Nov. 11, but since the Spokane County Courthouse Building will be closed on that day, the court isn’t available for walk-in customers.
