Applications for the independent citizen Police Ombudsman Commission are being accepted until June 6.
Materials are available on the Boards & Commissions Vacancies page. The first commission is expected to be seated and ready for work in mid-July.
Review of the applications for the five-member commission is expected to take approximately 30 days. Interviews will be conducted in early July.
City Attorney Nancy Isserlis hosted two public meetings to gather input on the selection process.
