Experience hands-on and virtual training and gain insight into police investigations, policy and procedure. The Spokane Police Department is offering “Citizens Academy” courses this spring!
The classes will be held every Wednesday from May 6 to June 8 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
People who participate will get an inside look at SPD and a working knowledge of the various aspects of law enforcement. During the academy, students are introduced to police training, operations and investigative procedures, special police units, and more. The Citizens Academy will culminate with a graduation ceremony where students will be awarded certificates of completion.
