Volunteers will be working within the Bemiss neighborhood this fall, Saturday, October 7th, for Cleaning from the Corridor (CFTC)! Cleaning, and large appliance pickup will be available for residents living within the event boundaries.
Cleaning from the Corridor (CFTC) is an event occurring twice annually benefitting neighborhoods throughout Spokane. This fall we’re in the Bemiss neighborhood, and the Bemiss Neighborhood Council will be participating in this effort.
Residents can put extra garbage and recycling out to dispose of during CFTC. Old appliances can also be donated. If you live in the area, stay tuned for more details about CFTC’s trash and recycling pickup. Residents living in the event boundaries (please see map below) can expect to receive a letter in the mail by the 2nd week of September with more event details. Volunteers will be onsite to help those that may not be able to remove trash or unwanted items from their properties.
This event wouldn’t be what it is if it weren’t for all the wonderful volunteers that have created a successful event every year! Those interested in volunteering can visit our volunteer signup page at VolunteerSpokane.org.
