Cleaning from the Corridor 2018

Spokane Gives Month is right around the corner! Which means Cleaning form the Corridor (CFTC) is back and this year’s event will be hosted in the beautiful Peaceful Valley neighborhood.

Last year, over 300 CFTC volunteers descended in the Emerson Garfield neighborhood up and down the North Monroe corridor where volunteers painted art murals, cleaned properties, removed trash, gardened and much more!

This year’s CFTC event will be on Saturday, April 28th from 9 a.m. to noon in Peaceful Valley. Volunteers will have an opportunity to clean along the Spokane River, improve community gardens, paint graffiti and assist in clearing trash throughout the neighborhood and neighborhood parks.

The CFTC program is part of Spokane Gives initiative. During the month of April thousands of volunteers will donate their time to bettering our community.

If you are interested in volunteering for CFTC please visit VolunteerSpokane.org. If you have any questions on volunteer registration or need assistance in registration please reach out to Abbey Martin, amartin@spokanecity.org or Katie Myers, kmyers@spokanecity.org.

Show your Spokane pride by tweeting your photos throughout Spokane Gives Month to @SpokaneCity with the hashtags #SpokaneGives, #SpoKind, #CompassionateSpokane, or #IAmSpokane.
