Originally built as the U.S. Federal Pavilion for Expo '74, the Pavilion was a gift to Spokane from the United States government. The Master Plan aimed to restore the Pavilion into a flexible use event space able to host everything from the Hoopfest Nike Court game and the Bloomsday Award Ceremony to a summer concert series and an outdoor giant screen film festival.
The dynamic lighting effects display an array of color, brightness, and patterns. Light shows will be displayed every weekend, year‑round, for all of Spokane to enjoy.
We are not accepting Pavilion Lighting requests at this time. Please revisit our site later for updates.
Is your organization or cause interested in lighting the Pavilion a specific color? Submit your request below! Please review our Pavilion light blade policy to ensure your request adheres to our lighting guidelines.
In 2019 the redeveloped Pavilion retained AEG Presents for event booking services. AEG is one of the leading providers of live entertainment in the world, booking thousands of concerts every year, including big names like Justin Timberlake, Paul McCartney, Stevie Wonder and Katie Perry, as well as festivals like Bumbershoot and Coachella.
