Section 02.005.040 Hearing Examiner
- The office of the hearing examiner conducts the hearings and other proceedings under the City land use codes and exercises the adjudicative functions of the plan commission, except those that pertain to the comprehensive plan.
- The hearing examiner conducts the hearings required for the formation and for the confirmation of assessment rolls of local improvement districts.
- The hearing examiner also conducts special hearings and performs such other functions as the council may from time to time designate.
- The hearing examiner is appointed and may be discharged by the city council.
