Section 08.02.065 Streets and Airspace
- Fees are provided in the Development Fee Schedule.
- Street Obstruction Permits.
- The director of engineering services may adjust the boundaries where a long-term obstruction is considered to be in a congested area in the interests of the public health, safety, and convenience, considering the need to promote traffic flows and convenience in administrative enforcement needs.

- The Director of the Development Services Center may set a master annual obstruction permit fee based on a reasonable estimate of the expense to the City of providing permit services. Permit fees are payable at least quarterly. If a master annual permit fee is revoked, the party may apply for a refund of unused permit fees;

- No obstruction fee is charged for street obstruction permits for activities done by or under contract for the City.
- The fee for a building moving permit shall be waived for the moving of a building which is an historic landmark or a contributing building located within an historic district.
- A contractor shall notify the department of engineering services for application of road oil or other dust palliatives to public ways and places of public travel or resort in accordance with SMC 12.02.0740(B).
- A revenue loss affected by an obstruction of the public right-of-way shall be equivalent to the maximum daily rate for each space obstructed in the Paid Parking Zone (defined in SMC 16A.04.100). Current Paid Parking Zone rates can be found in SMC 08.02.083.
