Chapter 13.04 Water

Article I. General Provisions

Section 13.04.1008 Valves and Outlets Sealed – Fire Inspections
  1. Every valve or outlet must be sealed. Seals may be broken only in case of fire, and in such case prompt notification must be made to the water and hydroelectric services department, and the valve will be resealed.
  1. The premises upon which any such fire protection service is installed shall be open to the inspection of any authorized representative of the water and hydroelectric services department at all times, and the owner or tenant shall give such representative all reasonable facilities for making the inspection and any information he may require. The owner or tenant can test the apparatus at any time by notifying the water and hydroelectric services department that such a test is desired, and a time will be fixed for the test to be made.
