Chapter 17D.090 Erosion and Sediment Control

Section 17D.090.120 Additional Requirements for Special Sites

Additional requirements imposed by the director to achieve compliance with the performance standards in SMC 17D.090.180 may include, but are not limited to, the following:

  1. Requiring that a State of Washington registered professional engineer, or other professional certified by the State of Washington with experience or qualifications in preparing erosion control plans, or a registered CESCL prepare or implement the erosion and sediment control plan.
     
  2. Prohibiting ground-disturbing activities between October 1 and April 30.
     
  3. Limiting the amount of denuded soil at any given time.
     
  4. Requiring a bond, letter of credit, or other guarantee set in an amount not less than one hundred ten percent of the obligation to be protected. The security may be reduced as project portions are completed.
