Chapter 17E.010 Critical Aquifer Recharge Areas – Aquifer Protection

Article III. Underground Storage Tanks

Section 17E.010.350 Violations

In addition to the violations specified elsewhere, it is a violation of this article for any person to, or permit another to, commit any of the following:

  1. Submit false, incomplete, or inaccurate permit application or test information, or fail to correct any such error immediately when it is or should have been known.
     
  2. Without approval by the fire official, tamper with or fail to display any permit lawfully issued, or to display any invalid, expired, or revoked permit or facsimile.
     
  3. Fill any UST to which a current, valid permit is not conspicuously affixed in accordance with WAC 173.360.130(4). This provision applies specifically to all parties including the tank owner and any vendor of products encompassed in this article.
     
  4. Alter, tamper with, obscure, destroy, or fail to maintain updated, accurate inventory records or any other records or information required hereunder.
     
  5. Falsify, misstate, conceal, or withhold information regarding product delivery, date, amount, or tank capacity, or any other records or information required hereunder; or
     
  6. Fail to comply with any regulation or order adopted under the authority of this article.
