Chapter 17F.030 Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code

Section 17F.030.130 Restrictions on Operation

No person may use or operate a boiler or pressure vessel:

  1. for the purpose of burning waste or any combustible material for other than heat or power, without prior permission of the boiler inspector;
     
  2. unless a current operating permit has been issued;
     
  3. if the boiler inspector has posted a notice that the boiler or vessel has been found dangerous or unsafe and has been closed down for repair or replacement;
     
  4. not in the charge of a properly licensed boiler operator whose license is displayed conspicuously in the room where the boiler is located.
