Chapter 17F.070 Existing Building and Conservation Code

Section 17F.070.390 Responsibilities of Occupants

The responsibilities of an occupant under this chapter include:

  1. keeping those parts of the premises under his control clean, safe and sanitary;
     
  2. keeping plumbing and other fixtures clean and sanitary and using reasonable care in their proper use and operation;
     
  3. preventing infestation and exterminating insects and rodents when only his part of the premises is infested and the rest of the building is reasonably protected against such infestation;
     
  4. disposing of garbage and refuse in proper receptacles, and providing such receptacles when the owner does not;
     
  5. refraining from placing or accumulating material and otherwise preventing the creation of a fire, health, or safety hazard to the occupants of the building;
     
  6. preventing any use of his part of the premises in any manner violative of law.
