Chapter 17F.070 Existing Building and Conservation Code

Section 17F.070.450 Effect of Hearing Order

 

  1. The order made at the hearing before the Building Official under SMC 17F.070.440(A) and the order upon the appeal hearing before the Building Official and fire official under SMC 17F.070.440(B), and the notice of right of appeal, are served upon the parties in the manner provided in SMC 17F.010.050.
  1. If no appeal be filed from the order of the Building Official within the time allowed, the Development Services Department files a certified copy of the order with the Spokane County Auditor as a supplement to the lis pendens previously filed. Thereafter such final order serves as a basis for any further judicial or administrative action, including the assessment against the property of any costs and expenses of the City in taking action to effect the order and bring the property into compliance.
