ati ons Limited Use Standards

Piers and Docks
This regulati on applies to all parts of Table 17E.060.670-1 that have a note [1]. Piers and docks shall be allowed only in areas described in SMC 17E.060.430 .
Fill Waterward of the Ordinary High-water Mark.
This regulati on applies to all parts of Table 17E.060.670-1 that have a note [2]. Fill waterward of the ordinary high-water mark shall be allowed only when consistent with SMC 17E.060.410(A) , Fill.
Fill Waterward of the Ordinary High-water Mark for Ecological Restorati on.
This regulati on applies to all parts of Table 17E.060.670-1 that have a note [3]. Fill waterward of the ordinary high-water mark for ecological restorati on shall only be allowed when the applicant provides documentati on that the project addresses legitimate restorati on needs and priorities and facilitates implementati on of the City of Spokane shoreline restorati on plan.
Fill Landward of the Ordinary High-water Mark.
This regulati on applies to all parts of Table 17E.060.670-1 that have a note [4]. Fill landward of the ordinary high-water mark shall only be allowed for a permitted and approved use. If this can be demonstrated, a shoreline conditional use permit is required.
Jetties, Groins, and Weirs Waterward of the Ordinary High-water Mark.
This regulati on applies to all parts of Table 17E.060.670-1 that have a note [5]. Jetties, groins, and weirs waterward of the ordinary high-water mark shall be allowed only where necessary to support water-dependent uses, public access, shoreline stabilizati on, or publicly owned and/or maintained projects. If this can be demonstrated, a shoreline conditional use permit is required.
