ne r Requirements
Compactor customers must contact the department in advance to ensure that the compaction unit is compatible with department vehicles and equipment and to ensure the location allows proper access for collection. Customers are cautione d to be aware of site and access requirements, including minimum height and width clearances ne eded for collection vehicles, particularly those relating to adequate foundation for departmental vehicle access and containe r location.
Damage to premises or property because of weight from collection vehicles and equipment, containe r placement or returning containe r to the ground after dumping is at the customer’s sole risk and liability.
Customers are fully responsible to provide adequate advance notice to the department of any conditions or problems on site susceptible to damage or injury.
Wheels on compactors can be damaged by the act of normal dumping of these containe rs.
The City is not responsible for damage through normal wear and tear.
Spillage due to overfill or other conditions not the result of active City fault is the customers responsibility.
In addition to regularly arranged service, customers may request additional pickups.
One -day advance notice to the department is ne eded.
The department will seek to provide pickup on the ne xt busine ss day after notification.
