Section 13.02.0508 Commercial Container Service, Placement
For all commercial capacity containers, the following rules apply:
To avoid container damage, location changes are to be made by the department.
Where customer needs require the container be moved, an additional container placement charge is assessed at the following rates:
A delivery charge accrues for cancellation of a container delivery request on less than twenty-four hours’ notice.
An additional service call charge is assessed if the collection vehicle must return to dump a container that had been scheduled and not dumped for any reason not of the department’s responsibility.
If the collection vehicle is required to move/pull out a front-load (one- to six-cubic-yard) container for the dump, a “pullout” fee is charged in addition to the disposal/dump charge at the following rates:
Accepting delivery of the dumpsters includes acceptance of these additional charges where the department determines necessary.
If the driver must exit the truck to open an enclosure gate, a fee may be assessed at the following rates:
Once a container is placed, billing continues until the container is removed from the property by the department.
