Section 02.02.120 Special Referendum Procedures
- The provisions of this chapter apply to both the initiative and the referendum, except to the extent that SMC 2.02.120 through SMC 2.02.170 make special provisions for the referendum.
- Because the referendum petition must be circulated and filed before the ordinance takes effect, no procedures for preliminary filing or review by the city attorney are required.
