Section 02.04.090 Duties of the Executive Head
The Executive Head shall be responsible for the following:
- Issuing or requesting issuance of declarations of civil emergency pursuant to SMC 2.04.030.
- Issuing emergency orders pursuant to SMC 2.04.040.
- Requesting the governor proclaim a state of emergency or disaster when the resources of the City, area, or region are inadequate to cope with the emergency or disaster.
- Other duties as may be imminently necessary for the protection of life and property.
