Section 03.01A.315 Purchasing and Contracts Department
- The Purchasing and Contracts Department is a financial administrative department responsible for the administration and operational support to program managers including contract engagement and compliance monitoring, relative performance and financial tracking, and budget review. Additionally, the department is responsible for the procurement of public works, goods and services by competitive bid, quote or proposal; processing purchase orders and contracts; managing inventories; and the disposal of surplus property.
- The department director, Director of Purchasing and Contracts, shall act as the Chief Compliance & Procurement Officer for all City activities involving purchasing.
