Article II. Vacation Leave
Section 03.04.230 Payment Upon Termination or Forfeiture
- An employee with more than one year of service, when terminating, is compensated at his last hourly rate for each hour of accrued vacation leave to the date of termination within the limits set forth in this article.
- Upon recommendation of the mayor, and for good and sufficient reason, the city council may authorize by resolution payment for vacation accumulated in excess of the limits set forth in this article, rather than the forfeiture thereof.
