Chapter 04.05 Arts Commission
Section 04.05.070 “Art” Defined
- For the purposes of SMC 4.05.040(E), SMC 4.05.050 and SMC 7.06.400, “art” means visual art, including sculpture, painting, weaving, photography, print-making, drawing, calligraphy and the fine crafts.
- For the general purposes of the commission, such as provided in SMC 4.05.040(C), (D) and (F), “art” includes not only visual art but also literary and performing arts, such as dramatic, comedic and musical theater, dance, music, poetry and other creative writing.
