Chapter 04.42 Spokane Urban Native Advisory Council
Section 04.42.040 Structure and Ancillary Powers
- The Spokane Urban Native Advisory Council (SUNAC) may utilize a committee structure to execute its functions and adopt internal rules of procedure to accomplish its duties.
- The SUNAC shall select a Chair and Vice-Chair for the Council from voting members appointed through the process outlined in SMC 04.42.030 for a term of two years. The Chair shall preside over meetings, and the Vice Chair shall preside over meetings in the absence of the Chair. The SUNAC may appoint other officers as it deems necessary.
- The SUNAC may host joint meetings with the City Council, Climate Resilience and Sustainability Board, Park Board Plan Commission, Transportation Commission, and other relevant boards and commissions.
