Section 07.06.170 Sole Source Procurement
The City Council by resolution may, for contracts above the Minor Contract threshold, waive public bid requirements for purchases:
- Public Works and services that are clearly and legitimately limited to a single source of supply as determined by documented research;
- Public Works and services involving special facilities or market conditions;
- of insurance or bonds; or
- of pharmaceuticals
The Director of Purchasing and Contracts conducts negotiations, as appropriate, as to price, delivery and terms.
