Article III. Contracts and Their Execution
Section 07.06.260 Minor Contracts - Execution

The City Council hereby directs and authorizes the Mayor to execute minor contracts without individual approval of each contract by the City Council.

The City Clerk is authorized to attest such signatures.

The Mayor may, upon his or her own volition, place any specific contract on the agenda for individual council authorization as he or she may see fit.

Contracts which were publicly bid require prior City Council approval.

Each minor contract shall specify the end date, and in no event shall a minor contract have a duration longer than two (2) years.
