Article II. Special Revenue Funds

Section 07.08.153 Public Safety Personnel and Crime Reduction Fund

1. There is created a special revenue fund known as the “public safety personnel fund” into which shall be deposited all tax levy funds received from the levying of property taxes for the purpose of hiring additional police and fire personnel and funding crime reduction programs pursuant to Resolutions 2018-0103 and 2019-0043.

2. The “Public Safety Personnel Fund” may be accumulated or expended only for the following purposes:

1. 1. Spokane Police Department personnel;

1. 2. Spokane Fire Department personnel; and

1. 3. Crime reduction programs.
