Chapter 10.47 Emergency Medical Transport
Section 10.47.010 Purpose
- The purpose of this chapter is to regulate the emergency medical treatment of injured, ill, or disabled persons and their emergency transport in ground and air ambulances.
- This chapter is enacted as an exercise of the police power and is to be construed for the protection of the general public health, safety, and welfare. It is intended to supplement and exceed the standards for ambulances and emergency services set forth in state law to the extent possible.
