Article I. General Provisions
Section 13.02.0110 Customer – Giving Notice
For purposes of any notice given by the City under this chapter, giving notice is sufficient if it is either mailed, emailed, given, or left either at the premises served or mailed to a billing address, if different from the service address, as shown in the City’s Utility Billing Office files.
- For premises with multi-unit dwellings or where several buildings are served with one account, notice is sufficient if given or mailed to the agent or representative of the account, as identified by the department or Utility Billing Office.
- Nothing here limits the City’s right to recover any obligation from any person determined to be responsible for charges incurred or receiving direct or indirect benefit of services provided.
