Article I. General Provisions
Section 13.04.030 Rates – Regulations
- The director of the water and hydroelectric services department (hereinafter referred to as “director”), subject to the approval of the city council, fixes a schedule of prices to be charged and paid for water service from the City or for related services provided by the City. The director may assess a reasonable charge for items or services not encompassed in the fee schedule.
- The director, subject to the approval of city council, makes such rules and regulations concerning matters covered by this chapter and as may be required for the proper operation of the water and hydroelectric services department.
- Approved rates, rules and regulations shall be published in one issue of the Official Gazette and shall then have the effect of law. Changes to the rates, rules and regulations are accomplished in the same way.
