Chapter 16A.62 Motorized Personal Transportation Devices
Section 16A.62.080 Violation – Penalty
Any person violating any provision of this chapter, except for specific provisions of SMC 12.06.100, shall be deemed to have committed a traffic infraction and shall be punished by the imposition of a monetary penalty of not more than two hundred fifty dollars, exclusive of statutory assessments. However, conduct that constitutes a violation of a rule of the road, or constitutes a criminal traffic offense, may also be charged and is subject to the maximum penalties allowed for the offenses.
