Chapter 16A.64 Automated Traffic Camera Systems
Section 16A.64.200 Purpose
Pursuant to article 11, section 11, of the Constitution of the State of Washington, and to Title 46 of the Revised Code of Washington, the City of Spokane enacts this chapter in the exercise of its police power, to protect the public health and safety and to promote the general welfare of the community by enhancing the enforcement of traffic code ordinances in order to reduce the frequency of vehicle collisions resulting from drivers who fail to comply with traffic control regulations.
