Chapter 17A.050 Interpretations and Minor Adjustments
Section 17A.050.010 Purpose and Responsibility
- Purpose.
The purpose of this chapter is to provide a process for interpreting and applying the provisions of Title 17 SMC.
- Responsibility.
Except as provided in chapter 17H.010 SMC relating to street development standards, it shall be the responsibility of the planning and economic development services director to review and resolve any questions regarding the proper interpretation or application of the provisions of Title 17 SMC pursuant to the procedures set forth in this chapter. The planning and economic development services director’s decision shall be in keeping with the spirit and intent of this title and the comprehensive plan. The planning and economic development services director’s decision shall be in writing and kept on permanent file.
