Section 17D.090.290 Provisions Optional – Exhaustion
The provisions respecting hearings and appeals are enforcement options in the alternative to the civil infraction system, and do not prevent contact by the enforcing officials with affected persons to achieve informal resolution of problems subject to this chapter, except that a party is required to exhaust administrative remedies in case of a departmental hearing order or stop work order.
