Chapter 17F.060 Elevator Code
Section 17F.060.020 Installation Permit
- No person may construct, erect, place, install, or alter any elevator, dumb waiter, escalator, temporary personnel hoist, platform lift, stair climber, material lift or moving walk or related equipment without first securing a permit from the Development Services Department.
- The applicant for a permit must file with the inspector a copy of the plans and specifications showing details of the new installation or addition to an existing installation. Submitted plans are also reviewed by the Development Services Department for compliance with other adopted codes.
