Chapter 17F.070 Existing Building and Conservation Code

Section 17F.070.280 Room Dimensions

1. IBC subsection 1208.2 is modified so that the minimum required ceiling height is seven feet.

2. IBC subsection 1208.3 Room Area.

1. 1. Every room used for both cooking and living, or both living and sleeping, purposes must have at least one hundred fifty square feet of superficial floor area; and

1. 2. Every room used for sleeping purposes by more than two persons must have an additional fifty square feet of superficial floor area for each occupant in excess of two.
