Chapter 17F.080 Fire Code

Section 17F.080.280 Securing Fire-damaged Buildings

1. All fire-damaged buildings posing a safety issue must be immediately secured, boarded, or demolished. The fire department makes every effort to contact the owner to protect the structure as indicated.
    
2. If necessary, the fire department may utilize the services of a contractor. The cost of such boarding or demolition is the responsibility of the owner.
