Chapter 04.05 Arts Commission

Section 04.05.020 Appointment
  1. The Arts Commission consists of sixteen (16) members nominated by the Mayor and appointed by the City Council to staggered three-year terms. The membership shall be composed of two members residing in each of the council districts. The remaining ten positions shall be designated as at-large positions and shall be filled by qualified city residents regardless of the council district in which they reside.
  1. Vacancies are filled by appointments to unexpired terms in the same manner.
  1. The City Council may appoint a city council member to serve as a liaison to the Arts Commission.
